Most houses in Bolivia do not have a screen door. Many homes do not have screens on the window, as a matter of fact. I insist on screened windows, and I recently (a few months ago, ha!) bought a screened door. However, the cats have busted out the poorly attached screen. Since I know they climb on EVERYTHING, I added the last piece of chicken wire to the outer side, and used up the old curtain screen from the house on 4th, before we moved in here on 3rd, to replace the flimsy crap they used at the furniture store. The'new' screen is green, whereas the old was the typical gray. Much sturdier, and I am putting the final nails in it now, in between eating lunch, helping Karl help me with the gas tank Alejandro was kind enough last night to get from Vicki's store (with her monster dog who wants to eat both us and all our cats and chickens).
